Computational Tutorials

We will feature a series of ~15 minute talks discussing various practical computing topics useful for PHENIX analyzers. Graduate students and others will share their knowledge of computational tools and techniques presented along with concrete examples. Currently scheduled talks are listed below:

• Mon. July 28 - Jin Huang - "Analysis with Fun for all"
• Tues. July 29 - Jin Huang - "New Spin Analysis Framework"
• Thurs. July 31 - Daniel Jumper - "Shell Scripts and Regular Expressions"
• Fri. Aug 1 - Chong Kim - "Accessing Databases"

Talks will be held Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1:30-2:00pm during the lecture weeks. Updated schedule: Most talks will be at 2:00pm. See the Indico page for more details.
